Privacy Policy — iScanVault
This Privacy Policy describes how Rokia Lab handles information in connection with the iScanVault application.
1. Information We Collect
iScanVault is built with a privacy-first, offline-first architecture. The App does not require account creation and does not transmit your documents to external servers.
Data processed locally on your device:
- Scanned documents and images
- OCR-extracted text
- AI-generated summaries (processed on-device)
- Expiry dates and reminders you set
- Categories and tags you create
2. How We Use Information
All document data is processed and stored exclusively on your device. It is used solely to provide the App’s features. We do not sell, rent, or share your documents or personal data with any third party.
3. AI Processing
AI features (OCR, summaries, document analysis) run entirely on-device using Apple’s on-device machine learning frameworks. No document content is sent to external AI services or servers.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored in the App’s local container on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data or documents.
5. Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat — for in-app purchase management only
6. Camera and Photo Access
The App requests camera and photo library access solely to enable document scanning. This data is never transmitted outside your device.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Your Rights
You can delete all data by uninstalling the App. For privacy requests: rokia@rokialtd.com.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
